    Throttle hesitation

Throttle has a hesitation when I punch full throttle. Doe's it either while moving or at a stand still. Gives about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle before taking off. New Dewalt 14.4 that I've been running about a month with no problems, just started a day or so ago. Any suggestions on what to check?

P.S My spc 8200's should be here in a day or so!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Just finishing painting up my Proline vdub baja body. Can't wait to get pack out there.

you say you are waiting for your lipo spc?

Are you by chance using old worn out NiCd at this time?

My bet is the nimh can't provide enough power at WOT, hence the throttle delay.

Nickel battaries are famous for lacking in instantaneous power, especially with larger motors and also new technology brushless systems.

Sorry guy's, been busy with work. Have'nt had time to check the brushes yet. As for the batterys....I run three different sets of LiPo's. Have'nt run the stock batts since I got the LiPo's.

This sounds like a setting in the ESC. Did it just start doing it one day? Have you changed settings, programmed, reset, or calibrated your ESC lately?
