When I somewhat punch the throttle it will take off and I will hear a bunch of clicking. It kinda sounds like something's breaking but I don't know what it is. It also does the same thing when I go from 10mph+ to a stop from hitting the brakes. Idk what's wrong with it. Any help?
Sounds like you stripped the front and rear diffs
Maybe just the front if your lucky
Have you adjusted your slipper clutch? That *might* be the problem...
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot
I agree with 50, Sounds like its time to rebuild the front or rear diff or both.
How can I check to see if that is the problem?
I would pull the front end apart to remove the diff case and open it up.most likely you will find some missing or worn down teeth on the ring and pinion
I would probably do the rear also then order some shims and shim it
This will.give you a good idea http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...-Diff-Shim-Mod

Diffs - they is dead. Front, rear, maybe both. As 50togo said, time to tear them out and have a peek. Might as well give them a shim while you've got them apart / replaced.
Ditto on the diff diagnosis. A while ago the read differential on my EMBE was making a really bad clicking noise. Come to find out that the inner bearing supporting the pinion gear fell apart. The ring gear and pinion survived long enough until the replacement came in.
My last diff disaster both pinion bearings fell apart and destroyed my ring and pinion
Found out it was a problem with the rear differential. What upgraded version of that should I get?
