I just got the Pro-line trenchers mounted on the black wheels. The hubs fit, but when I tighten the nut down the rim still wobbles on the rear hubs. Am I missing something?
Stupid question: are the rims completely flush with the hubs when you tighten them down? If not, they wobble.
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot
did you get spacers with the wheels? if so use them i got some proline rims came with like 6 packs of stuff for different trucks to get them flush and no wobble and if not that check the ball joints make sure there not falling out
No spacers were in the bag with the wheels, and yes they sit flat against the hub. It almost looks like the hub flange extends past the wheel.
Are you sure it is not the play between the hub and the axle?
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
it should be all good i looked at mine it wobbles a small amount looks to be the pin inside the center of the 17mm axles take the wheel off and move the 17mm back and fourth a little u should see the center pin in it move a little. not the set screw. also when i got the same tires and a different rim they moved alot i had the same problem ran them once then sold them for the same price i got them for to some guy. so.... some rims are just a little different. or post a vid of your problem and maybe the traxxas comunity and single out your problem. good luck.
Double post, sorry!!
Theres no difference in the hubs front to rear. Take a close up shot and post it.
