Yeah great motor, I had found one a while back, where you actually put the brushless motor in and it connects, replicates but no V8 sound....now I cannot find the site

or imagine using this for real on rc one day

And found the one I was looking for, the problem is the price tag, check this out

Those motors are sweet at an incredible price. Mine is 3" wide those are 5-6" wide. Mine looks scale w/a stock pede body. Maybe these would look good on a slash with 1/8 on road body. I bet they are heavy being die cast though...

Shucks. So close to finding another person with a Diamondback. I gave a CF version one to my brother and he loves it. I have a super rare extended wheelbase CF one that I keep in my collection. I still have an extra pair of CF tvp's too. Was gonna offer them to you until i read that the rig was sold. ****.

Throw up some pics! The memory of these cool parts must never die! This one was 12+inch wb cf version. Was there a longer version?

If yours was a 12" WB, it too was the extended version. The first DB's were stock Pede WB. Here's an OLD pic of mine. I'll try to get newer ones later,

Yup, same one. I love the look of the clod tires...

I do have a spare chassis with the plastic mount strips for the tvps

I know it defeats the whole "Pede" basis, but I think I'm gonna put a Wraith axles in the rear and run a divorced gearbox/transfer case. Should be cool.

Not really. More like a Pre-runner. It will still be 2wd.
