    motor options

    has anyone tried to put the velineon in the 1/16 erevo and can i be done

    Maybe he means the 10th scale velineon? If so, yes, with the 540 motor mount setup.

    I think he means the 3500 Jimmie lol. To the OP yes it's been done several times and more times than I can count people pull it right back out because its uncontrollable and top heavy. IMO I think the 1/16 VXL motor is more than enough in this truck and its a durable little bugger as well.

    The V380 is a strong motor... with a different ESC you can drive it hard all day long.

    I'll second that. I'm running an upgarded esc with stock velineon motor, and lovin it.

    I would first try a mamba max pro and see how you like it. Then down the road it will handle any motor for the merv

    thank you for the replies and i was talking about the 1/10 version of the modle i am just new to this it would be free if i where to do this

    If you have the motor and ESC as well as the brushed mount for the mini Revo, yes.

    You could try it our little batteries are a little small but you would still make good power. Tight fit though!

    sell it by a castle creations sidewinder v3 with stock motor still keeps the truck water proof just my 2 cnts

    I got the motor in. But just wondering if anyone had done this how to mount the esc....cause the vxl3s esc is way too large to fit in stock location as xl2.5

    If you put the receiver on the right side of the motor without the box you will have a little more room for the esc on the left

    flip it on it's side and velcro mount it in original location maybe?
