    storing lipos

Any way to get your batteries to a safe storage point without having a storage mode setting on your charger? I have 2 3s 5000 mah, 11.1v 35c batteries and an onyx 245 charger but it doesn't have a storage mode setting. Any way i can get it to a safe storage point without a meter?

Cell checkers are less than $5... I suggest getting one. Once you have it you can hook up an automotive light bulb to the battery with the cell checker attached to the balance cable set to go off at 3.8v/cell. Since that is storage voltage... you would be all set.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

When i get the cell checker can I just charge the batteries a bit, take them off the charger and check the cells to see if they're at the right voltage? And if its too low put them back on?
