Obviously I'll need a new a-arm, but does this mean I need a new axle carrier as well?
No you shouldn't need a new axle carrier as long as when you reinstall the pillow ball back into the carrier it still stays in place and doesn't fall out. From the pic it looks like you may be right on the edge since I see a bit of damage where it popped through.
Gotcha. Guess I'll pick some up just to be safe. I'm going RPM for the arms; any recommendation for the carriers?
i run aluminum black hot racing on my merv. and summit has silver gpm. there both good carriers. i think there are a couple of other types.
I'm not krazy. My mother had me tested.
I run the stock carrier with the optional aluminum pivot caps tra7033x. I never have a problem with them and they're cheap to replace a stock carrier over an aluminum one.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
Thanks! I forgot I had seen that thread. It's had some action since my last viewing.
