Just got my front and rear aluminum skid plates from RC Driven. Ship time was reasonable and the price was about the going rate.
Unfortunately, the screw holes aren't machined right. On the stock plates, the holes are beveled perfectly to allow the screws to sit just beneath the plate. With the RC Driven plates, the bevels are too shallow. The screws are seated about a half-milimeter ABOVE the plate. So when my chassis bottoms out, the first thing to make contact will be the screw heads. If they get ground down, I'm hosed.
Poorly engineered, RC Driven!
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot
