    Biggest spur

    Hey Guys,

I want to install the biggest spur possible, I know there are only 3 available with the stock configuration.

But, if I change to a Stampede/Telluride 4x4 style slipper, do you think I can run 90T spur without binding issues?

Don't worry about speed, or any other issues speed related, I just need to install the biggest spur possible...

    Thanks!

    Daniel.

It's the same, as long as it fits without modifications... I want to try a 90t 48t when all the parts arrive...

The XO-1 will eat 48 pitch gears. I wouldn't recommend using them.

But, that's why I want a big spur, I'm not going to use a MMM, want to try a Velineon... I don't care if it's slow but I don't want to overheat it...

Stick to mod 1, and get a 12 tooth pinion or smaller with a 5mm spacer. That would work fine.

Should be interesting. Keep us updated. Let me know if you need any help with fitting the slipper. I'm currently running one in my 2wd.

Oh man match that huge spur gear you are planning on installing with the smallest pinion you can find. Full throttle from a stop you will be doing 4 wheel burnouts WITH smoke.

LOL, not with the 3500 Velineon, that's why I was asking about gearing... I just want a cheap XO-1, don't need 100mph...
