Yea prob just your diff's are leaking. Be a good time to tear your diff's down and shim them and throw some new fluid in...
Whats a good recommend fluid and weight?
Do you have the shim part number?
And order a few of associated 21141
Went to a hobby shop and got some RPM arms. Putting an online order together soon.
When are you going to dye the chassis black!
Whenever it breaks and I need a new one.
Well...I think tomorrow (thursday morning) I am gonna bite the bullet and go Lipo. Got 2 online orders ready to be summited. Just gotta wait on direct deposit to kick me the funds.
One order is a cheaper lipo charger and power supply, the other is the battery and some other parts.
Its best to buy a quality charger like an icharger
Better for the life of the battery!
The charger I order has gotten great reviews. It's a decent brand name. Doesnt have some of the same icharger features but it does charging, balancing, storage of lipo and charges many other types of batteries. Still has an external power supply.
As for the battery, I chickened out and only got the Traxxas 2s 2200mah pack. Was gonna go 3s but I think that will be alittle too much for a backyard basher.

Yea you will still notice a big difference from nimh to the 2s lipo's.
New tierods, pushrods as well as my 2s Lipo pack should be arriving Monday.
Forth battery pack of the day resulted in a cracked knuckle.
HR, GH, Factory, or RPM (iffy on that last one)?

RPM's are working well for me ... but i know people are mixed on them.
In my observations, all of the following makes a decent knuckle... with many reported happy users.
HR, GH, and GPM
HR gets a bad rap because the threads are not always perfect for the pillow ball adjuster.
To be honest, I don't think any of them have perfect threads in this area... but because HR has aluminum pillow ball adjusters this flaw becomes more evident. If you have a way to chase the threads to make sure they are perfect, HR makes a quality knuckle.
RPM are hit and miss... some report no issues while others say they popped pillow balls and the bearing hole ovaled over time.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
I am kinda leaning towards the HR ones just for the bling factor of those fake brake discs.
I have had HR stuff in the past with previous RCs. I tended to always get luck with there stuff and not have any of the problemed parts.
I ordered mine way before I even had the MERV... found the full set on eBay for $18 I think, crazy low. Only had issues with one adjuster out of the 8.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
The hr pillow seat it round and gh and gpm are square some have had the pillow pull out when they get worn a bit
So, which is better then, 50?
Got my HR knuckles installed so now I can actually run my truck. And on my new 2S lipo. Oh wait, Its dark and snowy out and I have work early tomorrow.
So much less play in the steering with the knuckles, Very impressed.
Thanks, I'll consider it.
Brake discs on and a Goober (my cat)
GPM Titanium Push and Tie Rods
That's one nice merv!
Looking good so far. Nice pics also
Thanks....Not bad for under 2 months old. There in which is my addiction. Bought a new charger just so I can do Lipo not so long ago.

1. Broke a ball end on my GPM titanium rods first run within minutes... Whats a good replacement?
2. Lipo and my wheels is nuts. Too much traction that it doesnt take much throttle to make me flip.
Thanks to everyone who mentioned only going 2S on this forum. 3S would be stupid fast.
Didn't know the Summit had a brace on the front bumper.
Light kit will be down the road.
Not sure about rear lights then.
Had some snowy fun.
I think it might be time for a new body.
Bashing session with 1/10 Summit, 1/10 Slash 2wd, 1/10 Slash 4wd, and 1/16 Slash.
The lines are cracks in the body
And another crack
If you never want to worry about another busted body try th JConcepts Illuzion body. Ultra thick and durable.
Thanks for that tip...Was thinking about that body just for basher anyway. It's one of the cheaper ones out there.
I might do a Baja Bug too. I've done a few of them for other R/Cs.
Installed the long travel rockers and painted the bug body.
LT vs P2 front
P2 vs LT rear
Masked and ready but what colors.

Very nice geckoboy, but it is such a tease only seeing the first coat!!
New body is finished and decals applied.
New shot of the HR brakes.
I like the range of the Long Travel rockers...That jar is 4 7/8" high.
