Has anybody tried to wire in one of those 9.6 v battery packs out of the cheep rc's to their transmitter? I have a few of them out of my kids old crap rc cars. Hate to waste them
If it is the new TQi or the "old" TQ LINK that takes 4 AA's you will be over volting and probably frying the radio.
4AA = 6 volts
If you are running one of the older radios that take 8AA's you should be OK.... but probably on the low side. I would test it before soldering it up permanently.
8AA = 12 volts
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
