    Batteries connection

    I have seen two situations with my batteries, and I wonder if they are normal:

    1. The battery that is connected to the BEC side discharges more than the other.

    2. When I connect the battery to the connector that does not have the BEC, it makes sparks at the connectors....

    Sorry about my questions, I'm neebie at RC and lipo batteries.

    This is what I have learned from reading out here the last few weeks:

    Those are both normal. The BEC side will always discharge faster because that side puts power to all the lights and extras whereas the other side only puts power to the motor.

    Mine sparks on both side every now and again.
