    So if the ESC is fully water proof then what else has to be water proof to make a fully water proof rig?

    motors both brushed and brushless are already waterproof ( but you still need to clean and dry them). You still need to waterproof your lipos with plastic dip or similiar
    Then make certain all your connections are covered.

    If you were to run a sensored esc and motor then that extra circuit and wiring would give you issues

    No biggie, if your summit is submerged in water I seriously doubt it would overheat. But still, a lil plastic dip or liquid tape and di- electric grease would do the trick.

    Now where was this a couple weeks ago when i converted my summit to the kd designs duel dewalts i think i would have rather gone the brushless route.
