    upgrades

Those look like 14mm hex. Get a traxxas wheelie bar to help with wheelies. Also rpm a-arms possibly rpm true track conversion kit for the rear it will get rid of the tow links so your tow wont get out of alignment when you flip or jump and land wrong. A t-maxx 3.3 dual stage air filter and also big bore shocks with 60wt shock fluid. Here is my maxx classic with a 3.3 engine in it.

And this is what i jump my rcs with

And here is my collection but add a nitro rustler too it and e-revo brushless edition

And also maybe a traxxas 2075 servo for both steering and throttle it will improve on breaking and steering.

My upgrade list would look like this:
    1)2.4ghz TX/RX
    2)6volt hump pack
3)200oz or better Metal Geared servo
4)Some duel rate shock springs & heavier shock fluid
    5)RPM wear plates
    6)Aluminum bulks & chassis braces.

***FreeBees***, double up on the brake pads, cut down a retractable pen spring & put them between the pads, replace the brake linkage tube with a stiff spring.
Put friction pegs in all 12 holes in the spur gear.
Make a fuel tank lid pull out of 2 zip ties & some fuel tube, zip one tie to the hole in the tank lid, slide the fuel tube on the tie, then use the 2nd tie & zip it onto the first, the cut off the tie off the head of the 2 zip tie.

    Look out for the tree/crunch!

Nice setup wildman.. Also forgot to add in t-maxx 3.3 bell cranks and the violator fuel tank. Maxx 3.3 driveshafts or steel cvd driveshafts depends on how much you want to spend. A pull start if you dont mind it it will get rid of the extra weight from the ez start.

Yup the old type 2.5 centers are notorious for doing just that.
When you do order new centers get the 3.3 centers, pull the trany side yokes off your old ones & put them on the new ones, use a small 3mm washer under the E~clip to make up the difference.
The thread below has the how~to.
