    Cleaning My Brushed Summit Motor

Hey Ya'll. Been too busy to get out with my Summit for like the past year, but I finally put it back together tonight and want to get it running. The motor hasn't been run in a while though, and my hobby store doesn't sell any of that electric contact cleaner I used to use. Any of you have any ways on how I can clean it up? Thanks

Welcome to the forums! I've brake cleaner, carb cleaner, etc. Either one of those work the best in my opinion. You can even go out and buy actual electric motor cleaner from an auto parts store if you want too.
