I purchased my E Revo 2 months ago. I broke the chassis 3 times in less than a month. It has taken my mind some time to adjust to the incredible speed. I ran it into concrete pillar once, and twice into tennis court poles. They were unforgiving of my mistake.
So I decided to make a body that would absorb more front end impact. Something that would transfer a large portion of the shock to the rear spoiler mounts, because these are quite stiff. After 4 plastic prototypes, I tried metal and used a DVD player cover. I has done wonderful to absorb some head on front end impacts.
With crumple plate near the front end
lol ok thats close to what i was thinking once, if you make the cg very low maybe your revo will also run flipped!!
interesting idea although you are in the wrong forum, you should be in the 1/16 erevo forum.
