    don't you hate dust?

    Dust. Dust everywhere.
I do lot of sand and gravel, my MIP CVD can't take it anymore....
Anyone have tips to protect the moving part in the CVD? and also for shocks!
Dust free grease, rubber or cover or anything like that?

Funny you should mention that. I just saw a post on here earlier where someone recommended this stuff: Dry Ice Lubricant

I also just saw a post where many people recommand dry lube.
Many said that they don't lube at all, only wd-40
Dirt mixed with grease is much more damaging than no grease at all.

Ya, I hate dust too. It gets into everything, bearings, tie rods, motor, etc. I use a dry lube on mine, "wet" lubes only attract dust, and in the long run make thing worse.

Just keep in mind, WD-40 IS NOT A LUBRICANT! The wd part stands for water displacement, and a side affect of that is the oil that some people think is a lube. Just dry lube only, no wet lub except in bearings and preventing rust from wet running use. Just my .02 cents.

I don't have MIPs, but I use dry lube on my whole chassis...makes the dirt come off easier. I think what I use is made by Dupont, comes in a spray can from Lowes.

I just started using Fabulous Blaster graphite dry lube and it seems to be holding up well. Doesn't attract dirt or dust and still lubricates our metal parts especially our mip's!
