Sweeeeeeeeet! Man those tires look impressive for a stock tire too. It looks so easy to get to everything that is a blessing for maintenance!
I'm thinking with that much adjustability on the body mount there are many good things to come on body offerings to consider soon.

Congrats on getting one in your hands buddy, let us know how it runs out! Awesome!!

how does it sound? "chop-ity choppity brrrrump brrump choppity chpo-ity" Does it go VRRRROOOOOOOOMMMMMMM?

Ok, I'm sorry....I got carried away. What do you think about the ride height? will it work with a SC truck body on it or does it sit too low?

Ahhh man, you suck. Best color choice by far though.

I for one, really love that body. Ive always been a fan of the Traxxas rally body. I like the rear wing. Would look even better with a set of black wheels.

I wonder if you could check, are they just regular SCT wheels/tires or are they a special size/offset?

Ohhhhhh I like the battery strap.

EDIT: Are they slash 4x4 offset? thought I remember reading that somewhere?

First review: My SPC 2s 5400mah 50c lipo will not fit under the battery hold down without a battery expander kit... it does fit in the battery compartment, but it's TOO TALL for the hold down...

Not enough space here for the battery hold-down to fit. I plan to mod the mount with a couple spacers underneath to raise the mount.

Two screws under the chassis that hold down the battery hold down mount.

For once my LHS surprises me in a good way and called today saying it was already there. lol

Side by side, the stock Rally tires are a little shorter than the stock 2wd Slash tires... maybe 1/4 inch. But they are similar to the 2.2/3.0 style; more sidewall on the outside, less on the inside. Check out the pics.

The rear body mount is a quick adjust by loosening 2 screws and sliding up and down to fit. I lowered it all the way and test fitted the body.

Nice OG!!! Tons of good detailed pics of the unboxing. So far everything i've seen is a heavenly dream.

A good point stated: The body mounts are just awesome and just like the MJ they are going to be a big hit to lower bodies for the P4de & Sl4sh. I think they are going to be another big hit. I really wish Traxxas would send the battery expander with their models. I mean it's only a couple of bucks. Arhhh Thanks for pointing out that the packs don't fit stock. Good idea on shimming them up. That's what I'll prolly end up doing as i'll be running the same pack. Plus the rear motor mount looks tough and might actually hold up really well.

I think i'm going to slap the bat and charger on the MP. I have a few other's that I have that I'll do a package deal on. I dont use them anymore and all they'll do is sit. LOL

What kind of room is there to slap the ET-2400 in there? Not worried about the ESC as it's way smaller than the VXL-3S.

Man that Sl4sh body looks clean on there almost like it was made for it.

BTW thanks for the pics and info.

I'm liking the rear tower, more adjustment for the camber links. Do they look like they are interchangeable?

I really like the rear tower, it took maybe a minute to adjust the height - remove one screw on each side, raise or lower then screw back in.
I need to take a closer look at the front tower tonight and see about raising it a bit for the SC body.

Ya that Slash body looks like it's ment to be But personally I like the Rally body better.

Hey O.G do you happen to have a Slash Raptor SVT Truck body around? Interested to see what that would look like mounted up?

No I don't have the Raptor body to try on it, but I've had my eye on one for a while. I think they look pretty good when painted up nice.

Tire compound feels pretty hard, as in harder than the stock Slash tires. But I guess they need to be hard enough to drift.

I'm planning to run it tonight if I get off before dark. Pavement looks nice and dry from the window. I'm going to mount the SPC with a little heavy-duty velcro and bash. Later tonight I'll see about modding the battery mount.

You don't yet have anyone to race against therefore there is no way to tell how slow "blue" really is. Once the "ORANGE" show up, look out!!!!

Obviously I'm just joking around, however I will say your new Rally looks GREAT!
