i wasnt sure if the shaft was the same size or not
    thinking 12
looked at jangs project shapeshifter and he said that a 12 was the right size because you have to cut away the chassie so the 12 is what he ran so i think that will be good
if i can i will go as low as i can

    From the novak site:
    SPECIFICATIONS:

    Design: Sensor-base
    Motor Turn: 5.5 (#S3525N), 6.5 (#S3526N)
    Input Voltage: 2S-3S (5.5T), 2S-4S (6.5T)
    Kv (unloaded): 3,700 (5.5T), 3,400 (63.5T) RPM/Volt
    Watts: 800 (5.5T), 730 (6.5T)
    Motor Size (550): 2.84” x 1.41” (72.1 x 35.8mm)
    Motor Weight: 8.36 oz (295 g)
    Shaft Diameter: 5mm
    Rotor: Sintered Neodymium

The motor shaft is not the same size as stock, You will need pinions with a 5mm bore...

The 5mm 32p pinions that I recommend are rrp, losi, and the stock ones that come with the bl erbe and bl emaxx. All have been pretty much indestructible in any situation for me..

    EDIT:
I have no experience with the Novak pinions, but being they are made for 1/8 scale applications, I would assume they would be up to the task.

1 more note. I have had 5mm 32p Hot Racing pinions that are softer than the others mentioned in this post. I love Hot Racing products, and these pinions are the only thing that I have got from them that seem weak. They will wear out on a 4.5 lb 2wd slash running plastic jato spurs. Stay away with high load power systems.
