I've had my Revo 2.5 since about the time it out. Its only been ran a handful of times. Nitro is cool but, with brushless power I just love the idea of throwing and driving it. I don't know which route to go with the conversion.
1. Get the ERevo chassis and transmission and go that route. With this route do I need a motor mount?
2. Keep the 2.5 chassis and get the Tekno kit.
I'm looking for opinions on which route to go.
here you go
this one is my build,
wish you luck
humay has left the building, peace.
Thanks for those links. I have read quite a bit and have searched for every single conversion thread I could find. Right now I am leaning picking a 3.3 chassis with the Tekno kit. The kit I am ordering this week.
It's quite a lot of fun to convert as well
I think if one is careful with slipper settings and the amount of cells the drivetrain should hold up ok.
Here is my 2.5 conversion. I have a new battery tray now, as the battery tried to escape from the old one. The new tray is bent from stainless steel.
Thanks Reflex, I'm not much for Nitro and with the power that brushless can it was an easy decision. The motor I'm pulling out has less then 7 tanks of fuel ran through it. Its been sitting for at 4 years and has not been touched.
I converted my revo 3.3 a couple years ago.
Would you sell the 3.3?
