I keep grinding the wheel hexes.
Both on the axles and on the wheelrims
Anyone got an idea how to solve this issue?
aluminium hex's and make sure you use loctite and tighten them all the way.

I already have the aluminium hexes, it just made the wear on the rims worse.
I've used loctite and tried self-locking nuts, to no avail.
I had the same problem.. Slipper adjustment will help.. Other than that.. 17mm adapters and buggy wheels or sc wheels from DE Racing have 17mm hexes..

Well I use the Center Diff, so adjusting the Slipper won't help much.
I'll try the 17mm Hexes when I can find them in stock somewhere.
The center differential is where your problem lies. If you loose traction it puts all the power to the front wheels making it hard to control. Replace that with the slipper clutch and get it adjusted right and you most likely wont have this problem anymore.
I was having that same problem on both of my trucks! One truck now has aluminum wheels and hex! The other I glued the aluminum hex into the wheels. When the glue is good and hard I remove the hex and is is custom form fitted. Both of these has to,ex my stripping problems.
