    temp. issues

    My brushless motor is very hot and was wondering if its normal or is there's a way to cool it off

    What is "very hot"?
    Do you have a temperature gauge?
    Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

    I have the same problem with 2 stock Nimh battery in parallel...very hot to the touch

    Without actual temperature readings you have no idea if you even have a problem.
    Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

    get a heat sink or a fan or both and chenge your gearing

    Gear down on the pinion. Drop a couple teeth and listen to Jimmie get a temp gauge!
