My mini summit now converted to a merv is having a bit of a problem. Under hard acceleration, the left rear wheels spins faster than the right one. I confirmed it by lifting the truck in the air. What is going on? Checked the diff gears too and theyre good.
If the differential is full of fluid, there must be binding in the right rear wheel... somewhere.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
Stripped hex or missing pin that locks into hex on the slower side wheel?
Not familiar with the 1/16 summit. Not sure of they even have hex or pins. Same thing happened to my max and this was the cause.
Big Air Don't Care
Diff gears are fine, new hex. Just rebuilt the diff and filled with new fluid and the prob is still there.. Wondering if it may be the bearings..?
possible its the bearings. something will be binding on one side or another.
