    Gtr shock ?

Do they make aluminum shock caps and/or collars for the traxxas gtr shocks?

Thanks. But the picture looks like they are lacking in quality. Any other ideas?

Is this for aesthetics? IMO, it's not necessary with tbe gtrs like traxxas's other shocks. I have a skateboard ramp I've been launching my slash off of at 40mph that launches it crazy heights, and I have yet to have an issue. My little brother has blown 3 shock caps during the same bashing sesions with more conservative jumps on his stock 2wd slash.

Looks and strengthening was the thought.

Well if it's for a stronger cap, I recommend trying them stock first. I've been hitting ramps at 40mph and they've held up great. Much better than the ultras.

To be 100% honest, I don't think I have ever seen any one have issues with the GTR shock caps. The stockers are great!

Yeah, GTR caps are solid. They're plastic, but they're not weak. They're thick, and the threads are stronger. No need to upgrade.

I think we're trying to save you some money if you are assuming they pop off like the ultra caps. If you want them for 'purdiness' check out the shocks for the losi 4x4 short course truck (scx10?). I think they may fit.

Ok guys, I admit it's for bling. Probably pass though since the stocks receive such good feedback from you guys. Thanks
