Had my ERBE for about a week and a ½ now. Wicked fun this thing is. Me and my wife are hooked. We run it early in the morning before work and after work. I need more than one pair of batteries though. Im running 2 x 3S 5A 40C lipos since I got it. Settings are stock for the most part except I have 6V on the BEC and punch set at 60% and slipper ¼ out. Gearing is also stock at 18/65. We use that gearing for on road and off. No temp issues to speak of, fan never comes on except start up. Again excellent vehicle, well worth the money. Thinking about gearing up a little to the included 54 spur so 18/54. Any of you guys run this gear ratio on 6S? Just wondering if there are any temp issues I need to worry about with this gearing. According to the castle chart, the 18/54 is reserved for 4S only so I thought Id ask first. Again this gearing will be for on road and off road as well. One last think, has anyone gotten the motor test or torque limiting to work on the Castle Creations ESC. I cant seem to get the esc to perform the test. Thanks for any input. Just ordered the outerwears shroud and the wheelie bar. My wife really wants the wheelie bar, but I keep telling here thats what the fin is for. We havent broke a part yet so thats why Im wondering about the gearing.

18/65 is 45 mph
18/54 is 54 mph
20/54 is 60 mph
A temp gun is kind of a must have.....
Hot motor + cool esc = under geared.
Cool motor + hot esc = over geared
Everything warm just right..
Motor ~ 180/190*F (82/88*C) maximum, ideally 140/160*F (60/71*C), temps can be 10*F higher inside the motor
ESC ~ pretty much same temps / Fan comes on @ 150*F (65*C)
Lipo's ~ 140*F (60*C) max, ideally 100/120*F (38/49*C).........
4s = 40 mph
5s = 50 mph
6s = 60 mph
change the cell count, spur & pinion count, & tire size.
