man, i hardly run mine due to my other build and i dont wanna tinker with it as i dont need to do so hahahha. i do still need to paint the body though. i did notice that some of the screw heads showing some rust which is odd cause i never run them on any wet surfaces.

That says it all lol, I lived in San Diego and rust set on stuff even when it wasn't wet. Here it would rust only if water hits it since its the country.

Heads strip to easily...I changed mine all to stainless about a year back...ended up changing them all back to black steel...the surface rust doesn't bug me so much.

Did you swap to RCScrewz or Tonys? Or something else? I keep thinking Tony's are better quality. I have had a couple RCScrewz sets and couldn't agree more that the heads strip out. They are wicked soft.

I had the RCScrewz set...nothing worse than trying to get a stripped St Steel screw out. I have so many stock screws I have just gone back to them...if a screw head is really rusty I spray with RP7 or WD-40...you could always take a sharpie and colour in.

I wonder if the Tony's are that much better. If $$ is any indication they should be. But i have never used them personally so i don't know.

Its probably just the grade of steel he is using; maybe a 316 as opposed to 304...IDK...we use stainless steel bolts and nuts on a lot of our mining jobs. Our service tecs hate them because of binding. They are near impossible to undo once been out in the elements.

I'll stick to the black steel bolts...they are also easier to drill out

Hex screws site has good screws I hear and they have a set that is like really high grade maybe just price? I have the link on my laptop on tablet if I get on I'll post it up . I like the look of stainless and can't agree more on the cheap heads stripping.

The only issue I've had with my RCSCrewz is stripping the plastic, I don't see how you strip a steel bolt into plastic. I've had CVD grub screws strip, that's a pain, ended up cutting an output gear shaft to get it all apart.

I use black liquid tape on my screws it covers it so it doesn't rust, if I need to take a screw out its comes right off. Can I share my revo conversion or is this only for the person who made it?

I've used AP (Armour Plated) Hexscrews on my nitro LST2, and was not impressed. They were not magnetic. Longer Hexscrews were not threaded all the way (threads usually stopped at ~75%). My Hudy wrenches stripped them like they were made of butter. After thorough research I've upgraded all the scrwes on the LST2 to Tony's screws and I have to say: the difference is tremendous. It became obvious to me that Hexscrews are all appearance and no substance. Their site and ads sure do look nice, but the screws themselves are crap.

Now that I've got an ERBE I bought a set of Tony's screws for it on AMain with full confidence that they Tony's screws won't let me down.

Isn't the Nitro tranny at a different ratio though? If I ran my truck at 20/36 I suspect it would do 80mph on 4S and melt the power system.

    I run 22/54.

50t or 52t spur 32 pitch is what fit on the nitro chassis before it hit the chassis.

looks like HR came up with aluminum diff cup that allows you to drop everything what you have on your E-REVO diff.

I wonder if the redesign on the HR cup has any benefit over the FLM cups
