Help, I snapped my chassis in two! The chassis broke in half at the two screws above the front main drive line. I had a square, head on collision with a tire of a parked car. I also broke the the front diff housing.
1. Are there any other chassis options out there?
2. If there is, is it best to stay stock on this?
3. Any helpful hints or suggestions for rebuilding?
integy has a carbon fiber chasis 99 bucks and an aluminum chasis 149.00. id prob go with the carbon fiber
Stay with the stock chassis in my opinion. The extra money those other chassis cost could be better used elsewhere on the truck. When you take it all apart, make sure you have the exploded view handy and also be organized. When I take mine apart, I put the screw back in the hole of the part it came out of so I don't mix hardware up. good luck!
Also, aluminum bulkheads will solve this issue... amongst some others = more bang for the buck.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
Thanks for the tips! I'm going stock, I like saving some $$. That exploded view is going to be by my side the entire time!
If you get a stronger chassis, you will break the bulkheads a lot.

the aftermarket chassis suck... get stock, run alloy bulkheads and a tbone full skid and bumpers... you wont have anymore problems
