    custom parts (needed?)

hey slash 4x4 guys could the slash 4x4 benifit from bigger bearings in the rear axle carriers?

    like insted of stock size
    (5mm i.d.-11mm o.d.-4mm thick)

    how about 5mmi.d.-14-16mm o.d.-5mm thick

    worth it?

There always has to be some balance in the difference between inner and outer diameter and the width.
The benefit will be there in ways of more durability. The question is if you need it and if it's worth the hassle to get them in (larger carriers needed).

    ok

i was thinking about this beacuase my p2de has the stock 5116 bearings in it. even though the axle carrier bearings in the rear are still smooth and have little play after 5 months of play in a lighter chassis .than with the slash 4x4 being heavyer wouldnt
the rear bearings where out faster

i was woundering if if there was room for inprovement in the rear(bearings/axle carrier) to be done

If you use tekno carriers you could go to bigger bearings.
