    extended traxxas stampede 4x4

    hey has anyone ever tryed taking the front and rear off the stampede 4x4 and slapping on a slash 4x4 body? would this work? let me know if you have any thoughts on this! thanks

    You would have a Slash. the front and rear assembly of both are identical, minus bumpers.

    I pretty sure that how you build a 4x4 MT Slash or at least the start of one

    Great paint job! I love blue and flames myself.
    What kind of wheels/tires are those, and are they wheels metal or plastic?
    I like chrome wheels, but the chrome doesn't seem to last too long when it's getting sprayed with gravel all the time.
    I will have to say the Traxxas chrome is more durable than the Prolines though.
    I'd love to find a nice light set of 2.8 metal wheels.

    Body= hpi jeep wrangler rubicon
    Shocks from ofna 1/8 buggy
    wheels and tires= Imex j7 wide tires and not sure what rims, but made by imex.
