    EREVO ESC fan always on?

hi guys im new here just got my self an erevo.

just a quick question is it ok that my esc on my erevo is always on once i connect the batterys and turn it on? seems to be running fine, infact its dridiculous, much fatser than my revo with a picco .26 max in, and miles quicker than my savage 4.6

im running it on 6s lipos if that helps

    thanks

no, it only comes on for a few seconds when you flip the switch on and turns off, then it will comes on when your ESC temp hits 150.

ESC fan should only kick on intermittently, once it hits a certain temp it should kick on.

Yep, they are supposed to come on during arming. Then again if temps reach 150* as Hum-ah-whatever mentioned

I had one that didn't come one on a previous unit, opened it up and the power wires had melted and shorted out.
    (yay for buying used)

just checked and you were right it does turn off after a few seconds.

this thing is mental on 6s, already twisting my rear shafts at the yoke end tho :s

also the batterys any good, cant get hold of any **** tech in the uk, but these seem like a good battery?

watch your temps if your fan stays on all the time during the run you might need to change gearing.
2/3s is fun & alot of power but so hard on the truck with a heavy throttle finger...
Would you go flip my truck back over??
