I was just wondering why does a charger indicate that the nimh pack is at 8.90v (around the time the battery is fully charged) when my pack is only a 7.2v pack? I will post a pic later to better explain what I'm trying to ask.
7.2 is nominal voltage. Charged it should be 8.7V for a six cell (1.45V per cell) ideally. At 1.5V per cell it gives 9V for six cell this is the Max, anything higher then a cell is going bad. I had a old six cell charging to 10.8V lasted about three runs. Then i seen Lipo.
