Can't get the tie rods into the steering rack? Help...

I have a stock Slash 4x4 bellcrank on my 2WD slash but I can't for the life of me get the tie rod ends in there properly! My ball ends seem to be a bit too wide for the rack.. What the heck is going on here? Am I doing something wrong?

You need to change the ball end out.
You can see the wider end, those are used more for shocks and things with the screw butting up to it.

As billy-bones stated, you need to replace the ball end with a smaller one. Here is your dilemma:

Where your rod end has the ball on the right, the one in the middle is what you need. It is a simple fix, just pop the old one out, then pop the new one back in.
    Just 1 mph more!
