e-revo! need more brushless info!!
Hey guys I was looking at buying a e-revo. I really want brushless but do not want to spend $730.00 on an e-revo brushless. Is there a good setup like a tacon motor? And If i was to get a tacon motor could i get a 1/10 scale motor? also what would be a good esc for that motor? maybe a hobbywing one? Thanks!

Yeah man, you can pick up the E-REvo brushed and get an XErun 150 amp/2200kv combo from Hobbypartz for $200, then sell your stock brushed system for around $60. Its not really THAT much cheaper though. Thats the problem. Your getting the Castle brushless system pretty cheap when you buy the ERBE.
But, if you look on the market place you can usually find some good deals on E-Revos or rollers or similar setups. If you can pick up a roller thats only missing the power system you could have a brushless revo for $500... good deal.
Do you think I could get a brushless setup for no more than $100.00? Maybe a tacon motor?
