couldn't replace U yoke, rear/rightside
I broke the U connector on the end of the drive shaft on the rightside/read(just before the tire mount). Bought a new U-yoke(part 6828x). When disassembling the broken one I hade to saw the molded plastic to remove the broken U part. And then I discovered that the metallic pin that locked the U yoke is like welded to the axle making it impossible to replace the U, am I missing something?
Out of desperation I ordered a complete new driveshaft(6852X) - is this the way to go?
Thanks in advance!
a 1.5 mm hex should remove the pin that connects the yoke to the diff outdrive. And the u-joint you need to pry the plastic up with a a screwdriver and pop it over the metal ujoint pin. Youtube can show you this. Its a pain.
What did you saw?

Thanks for your reply!
Maybe the picture shows what I mean!

Ok, you have the wrong part there
You want the stub axle not the diff out drive. 6853. The plastic is molded on.
6828 is for the other end of the shaft that connects to the diff.
Thanks! I guessed I somehow had the wrong part :-(
Then it will be solved with the complete rear drive shaft part anyway!
Once again, thanks!
The part you need is 6854x (front stub axle)

RC Fan, thanks! Have ordered them now!
Front and rear stubs are different. Front ones don't work on the back.
that's right rear is 6853x, front is 6854x
