Were you able to contact Kershaw?
I am close to receiving my refund for the XO-1 roller I bought, but I don't think I will have it in time to catch the sale this month at Tower. The PayPal investigation resulted in my favor so that is a step in the right direction.

Sold the truck and the Airtronics items within the last week. Brand new original style (with batteries) XO-1 should be here next week...

Took the car out for some runs today. Ran through two pairs of batteries and only had two flip overs and each time it landed on its tires. Kind of weird knowing that 50 mph on a narrow road is quick, but compared to my outings on my 8s setup last year when I was averaging 90+ mph per pass it feels slow. I am leaving it locked for quite awhile so I can have some fun. It sure is nice to end the day without having to perform any repairs! I need to trim the body around the front of the rear tires since it is rubbing. I forgot about that minor issue. I moved the suspension inward on the a-arms and replaced the springs with some higher rate springs. The bottom didn't get scraped up anywhere as bad as my first stock XO-1 did when I ran it the first day on the out of box suspension setup. The sliders bars worked out great when the car flipped. The gorilla tape over the front wheel wells and on the high parts of the spoiler also saved the car nicely.
Here is what the car looks like after the runs today:

that fibertape + shoegoo looks interesting. I have always searched for a way to *permanently* tape tires. All kinds of self-adhesive tapes I tried never held up in the long run. Do you think this could work for tires? As far as I've read, the shoegoo stuff stays flexible after it has dried?

I am not sure because I have never taped any tires. Shoe Goo is really messy though so I don't know how you will be able to keep it evenly distributed inside of the tires.
