    gearing

What should I gear my merv so it won't overheat? I'm running 2.2's with 3s and stock system on hard dirt and pavement.
    thanks!

I'm thinking about getting a different pinion gear. My set up is all stock except my road rage 2.2" and batteries I've got is 2 NiMH batteries and the Series connector which I only used when I had the rally 1/16. Right now I'm only running just one battery and 19/55. I'm in need for speed without blowing my motor and esc. I do have a fan for the esc and motor.

You pick up alot of speed by running 23/50 and keeping an eye on the temp. We run 25/50 on my friend stocker and have no problems and with the Traxxas wheelie bar missing the lower wheels on a .3 cell he.can wheelie forever and never get hot

You should not be getting hot running 23/55 with a bb
