What is Your Favorite Band or Type of Music?

I could be wrong, but I don't think I've ever seen a thread about Bands and Music, so I'm starting this one. What is your favorite Band or type of music? I'll start.

I'm more of a relaxed, calm person... currently my favorite band is called 'Sleeping At Last'(I'm listening to them right now). I like them because I really think their music is just beautiful and relaxing to listen to.

    What's your favorite?

There have been a few threads on this topic, but I don't see a problem with a new one.

I have a lot of favorites, can't name just one becuase it depends on the mood I'm in as to what I am liking at that point in time.

Overall, The Beatles should cover it though. Best that ever was....

I like some of Jason Aldean's stuff. For country I'd have to say Brad Paisley though.
    I'm mostly a Christian music/Christian rock listener

I have to agree with Game scores. They can be awesome. The two mentioned. WoW and ODST both have some amazing music to them!!

Bands wise though. Anything metal that will give 90% of people a headache lol. Like Slipknot, Lamb of God, SYOD, Rage against the Machine, Fear Factory, Kittie, Korn and on and on and on.

I also love 60-80's music. But am a total sucker for the one band that hasnt been mentioned but (IMO) should be top of everyones list - Led Zeppelin! Also Beetles, Eagles, the Doors, Blind Melon, Cream.

Then there is the more chilled music for a quiet night: Bonobo, the Marrs Volta, Jarcrew etc etc.

And the album that everyone should always have with them at all times - Team America soundtrack!!

Metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, etc...), rock (Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Guns 'n Roses), and rap/hiphop (50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, E-40, several others). Yeah I know, most people probably don't listen to both rap and metal, but hey! Music is for enjoyment, I like to be open to a few different types.

80s punk and hardcore. I won't list the bands because that would be one long list, but you wouldn't find any of that new stuff that tries to pass itself off as being punk on my list.

I listen to a lot of different stuff. My current taste has been toward 70's and 80's country rock like Marshall Tucker Band, Hank Jr., Neil Young, Johnny Cash, etc. But then, I can listen to Eminem, Eazy-E, Pantera, AC~DC, Beastie Boys, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Ministry, and Garth Brooks all in the same day. Just depends on my mood. Don't really like a lot of new stuff, though. I have like 200 albums on my MP3....
