This is the final version of my Carl Edwards Project.
Mods are - Pro Line 2012 Focus Body, Wheels/Tires from Kyle Busch truck, Red Toe links, PushRods, Steel CVD's, Rear differential is locked with the Traxxas kit, Motor heat sink, TBR Underbelly Pan.
Looks good I like it. Question what does locking the rear diff for a car like this?
Looks amazing. Did you do the paint yourself. Excellent work. Im a big carl fan. Maybe for your next one you could get the clear Kyle Bush truck body and paint up Carls truck series truck. That would be cool too.
Great job, thats one good looking car.
Awesome job !
I can not take credit for the paintjob myself. I asked a friend to do it and he really did a great job with the details considering this is a 1/16 body. Also, locking the rear diff makes both rear tires turn the same speed. If one tire comes off the ground it will not spin faster than the other tire on the ground. It really helps with taking off in a straight line. Drag cars use it this way. Also drift cars are setup this way to help keep the rear end under better control. The Traxxas Part # is 7381. It replaces the gears inside the differential and locks them together. I used these parts to lock BOTH the front and rear diff's on my Mini Summit to help it crawl better.
