Cool should Traxxas make a snowmobile?

I would like to see traxxas make a snowmobile. It could have an option to stud the track change colors of the tips of the skis, be able to change the wear strips and carbides. Make it a 1/8 scale or 1/10 with a brushless set up. The battery could go under the seat, esc under wear the gas tank is and have the motor placed were it would be in a full size snowmobile. Also make the option for a taller lug track. Also the option for a front wheel kit and an asphalt track so you can use it in the summer. What do you guys think about my idea? Yes no? Would you be interested if they made it?

It would be awesome as long as traxxas does not throw someones name on it so that it will sell or make it overly complicated. If their engineers got ambitious they could make a belt drive clutch similar to the ones found on a full size. Doing so would eliminate the need for a transmission or slipper clutch.

I'm sad that nobody else seems to give a hoot about a sled

Perhaps a limited run model Traxxas?

I'd buy one but I think it would have to be much bigger than 1/8 scale. At least a 1/5 or 1/4 could be good

ABSOLUTELY! Almost no one else makes RC snow mobiles, and there would be a market for them. Also: the summer is to short up here in the north, need a winter toy

I don't care if its $100 or $600 I WILL buy it. 8th scale would be a good size. Have tracks of different lug heights, and a
asphalt track and asphalt skis for summer. Every snowmobile owner would have to get one................I can only hope!!!!!!!

People have spoken Traxxas now it's up to you to get it done
    1:8 Scale would be nice.
I live in Texas now, but still want a sled please.

And who cares if you don't have snow??? Just drive it in the sand! Real sleds can!
In fact, it'd be really good in the sand I bet! AND you could drive it on the water just like real ones!!!!

I'd love a track vehicle for snow. My family loves the outdoors in winter. I work in a cold environment most of the time so I'm adjusted to it. Then I could drive the beast on the frozen mississippi here along with all the other frozen lakes and streams instead of my slash!

That's the spirit! 1/5 scale or so would probably be perfect, just big enough to make it totally realistic and still small enough to run almost anywhere. Water skipping, grass drags, sand drags, sno-cross (my fave!) and whatever else you can think of. Having a 'rider' would be killer too! Optional studs for the track along with different tracks in general for specific applications would be sweet.
And the best thing in the world would be... A KIT VERSION! Just think how gnarly it'd be to build your own
Of course, RTR would be fine too, but kits rule!

I don't get enough snow where I'm at. I'm good with studded tires on my Slash 4X4.

Problem is that Traxxas wouldn't be able to test the Snowmobile in Plano, Texas for long. Rarely snows long enough.

I think for the motor use the mmm and for steering use two 2075's like in the summit or something and the electronics would have to be waterproof, I would pre-order one if they made one.
I blame it all on speedpede09
