is there any advantages to converting a 4910 to 4907, other than getting to spend another big wad of cash replacing almost everything on the truck?
If your gonna spend that much completely converting go buy a NIB 4907.
I got tired of twisting shafts so I upgraded to the 3.3 carriers, toe links & driveshafts.
You could just step up to the 3.3 4908/07 chassis, carriers, toe links & driveshafts while using your Black case trany & the rest.
You can use the 3.3 centers, you just nee to keep your 5mm output yokes &space them with 2 washers a yoke on the new centers.
Look out for the tree/crunch!

depends on what you want to do....
1. do you want the longer chassis, if so then dump all the $ and make it all 4908/4907
2. if your just wanting better strength driveline get cvd's
IMO id rather just buy cvd's for the 4910 and be done, if you want a wider stance get some 1/2" offset rims..
Traxxas is good, but so are other Manus
it has the wide suspension upgrade, bad tranny though i think
has metal driveshafts (cvd i think) have a motor/exhaust,rx/tx comin. probably tear into tranny in morning. hopefully its just a shearpin.
