I had a 2650 motor in my 4X4 pede the day they came out. I powered it with an MMP and it fit right where the stock ESC fit... it was tight but it fit great.

Heres a video of it running on 3S. Power was unbelievable. Even on 2S it was more than enough.

nice pave, yeah the MMP is a tight fit, I thought about it, but I didnīt want having to change the connectors, and was too close to the motor.

Even with the larger esc there is WAY more room the way you did it. Looks great. And, you could run 6s if you wanted. (and you should, hehe)

not yet, just put it together this morning, will give it a try later, to see how it runs, I'm not crazy about speed, I run on grass, dirt, and sometimes the 2400 got kind of hot, so what I'm really looking is to run cool, more than speed. I like speed too, but the pede isn't really a speed car unless you modify it to be a street car.

I like launching it and bashing around on my backyard track. I dont really have space to get up to speed but really also just want a cool running reliable motor/esc combo to bash with. I didnt say reliable truck though cause with that much power It may not be possible.

short story had it on my slash MT, decided to sell the slash, put the combo for sale on the MF, it didn't sell, so decided swap the mmp-2400 for this monster, and give it a try.

It runs like a champ, yesterday we did the same conversion on my friendīs pede, and we ran both truck, wheelies all the way, just love it, temp was 110F on 3s, after two packs. Definitely I will keep it on the pede.

the truck gets heavier, but it handles good, the tires balloon more than with the 2400kv, geared the same, on 3s, no vids yet we both were doing first test-running, lots of torque can pull wheelies anytime.

I am thinking about getting the 2650 and run it with the Mamba Max Pro. Not sure yet. I dont want to heat up and burn the MMP, but that might not be a problem on 3S. At least 20% more speed than the 2400 I currently run. Still in doubt...

Im running with the slash chassis converted from the stampede. After a bunch of speed runs and messing around on 4s temps were awesome. Barely over 105 on both esc and motor geared 18/54. I did not change the clutch yet though so it gets hot and doesnt work too well. Cant even barely pop up a wheelie but its fast.

Daedlux I had it on my slash too, you should be able to do wheelies on command if not the slipper is too loose.

Petertje60 pave had that combo on his pede it should be perfectly fine.

I have stripped 4 wheels out in two days on 4s lipo. This motor is beast. Im still waiting on my 3.2 revolvers with the 17mm hex. Hopefully those will be strong enough.

Yeah, I remembered that later, after I posted. Thanks for reminding me anyway My LHS made me a nice offer last week and that still got me thinking ($140, which is a great price for Dutch standards).

I stripped a couple too, but since got aluminum hexes no more issues. Those are Proline mashers, on desperado.

I am looking for a new shock set, and don't know which one to pick yet.
    Thanks

RC-Fan, did you do any mod on your front shocks (either the shocks or the tower?). I see you have grey springs in front which is much softer than the orange ones in the rear. What oil weight do you have on them? How is the suspension with the your current pede weight?
I just ordered 4 with orange springs on them, and like to know if I have to get softer springs. My pede is similar to yours but has the mmp-2400kv instead.

No I didn't do any mod, the suspension works really good on any surface, didn't change the oil, I just bought them, and installed them.
