    Liquid Posion!!

Ok ok strange title I know. Heres what it is.
Garrett is the 8 year old that lives by me. His mom has noticed how much he enjoys racing around with my rustler on 5050 mode and decided she wanted to get him one. He has been begging her for a monster truck version, ever since he saw and drove my stampede.
So I said Ill sell you my stampede for what I paid for it, and you can give it to him. I enjoy running them when hes around so itll be a great. She agreed but wanted to get a new body for it, because he wants a green one. So I picked up the 50s stampede body (only thing in stock for a pede at hobby shop.), some green silver and black rattle cans, and a roll of green tape.
I asked her what hed want to name it and over the phone heard "LIQUID POISON! But it has to be green mom!". Lol so i hit up the local sign shop and she printed off the pictures and text. She even did it in reverse so the decals are internal and wont scratch off. The only thing missing is the 10mm Green led and chrome holders I ordered from ebay.

    Heres the specs:
    waterproof xl-5
    2075 servo
titan 12t (soon to be replaced)
    27mhz tq 2ch radio.
6cell nimh to power it up.

    the pics:

That's a nice paint job bud, and a great idea about getting the sigh shop to make your decals.

Thanks for all the nice reviews/comments. I gave it to him today, and he drained 2 nimh packs very very quickly. Lol. Soldered up a traxxas connector to his charger, and finished up the small details. No lights yet, but probably wont get them as he beats on it pretty hard. Well see. Rpm front bumper and shock towers were added today to. He was stoked.

    O.G.: If only you knew.

Good for you man, another example of this hobby bringing out the best in people. Sounds like you're well on your way to bringing the three of you closer together. Hope it all goes well for you, I can sense that you are pretty happy about the way it's going so far, keep up the good work.

In this matter, your opinion is the only one that counts.

Dude those green LEDs are going to really bring it together. They look so sweet at night. I actually ran a couple packs down last night in the dark, with those Digger red LEDs and light tubes. I can only imagine the look on that kiddos face when he see's that truck during the day and run it at night. He's totally going to look up to you, heck probably way more now.

Hey man your opinion is the best. If she has an awesome personality, and good looks you've got it made. Wish ya luck < sinc e we are your love connection > LOL j/k

Thats an awesome looking shell!! And a great place for the kid to start.

I agree with the helping the younger generation out withthings like this, the looks on theor faces are priceless when they see it! Cant get over all the kids that stop and watch me with that big 'WOW thats cool' look im sure we have all seen .

As for his mom, you opinion matters, so what about others! Imo women (this works both ways as well) are like a book, or film or tv show, there will always be millions of opinions on one person, but only one ever counts and thats yours!!

Ok ok so im late with pictures, but hey we all get buisy. Those who are old enough to have jobs know exactly what I mean.

Here are some new pictures. It has been given to him and he absolutely loved it. I have since bought some cheap 1/10ish plastic toy cars and melted them into crushed cars. There great for ramping over. He hasnt seen them yet.

Here are the pictures as promised. Now Im building my own monster, to run with him. Need a name and paint scheme though. Lol.

The lights are just a tad to small for the designated light area, but he doesnt care and neither do I. They fit in snuggly with screw in holders. The lights are bright and work great.
