Best improvement is two fold, tires and proper shock set (springs and oil) up and next, having brushless/LiPo power!

The Traxxas Slash is a great teacher............rewarding to learn from

Sway bar kit. Second is fastlane sealed diff. Third is tires. If I had an LCG kit it would be number 1 I imagine!

Ditching the traxxas 2075 for a hitec metal gear high speed servo. Running on a tight indoor track that servo was a huge improvement.

get your self some shock oil. wait until things break and replace with rpm or aluminum.I run the stock shocks up front with 40W oil/1 hole piston and a cut set of rear springs. In the rear i used to run 50W oil with a 2 hole piston and the traxxas t-maxx red springs. This works well on all surfaces.

I guess I'd have to say protrac kit was the best thing I've done to mine so far probably because I have not done much to it, or with it for that matter.

My slash is a basher and I'm just hoping the protrac holds up to it. I have read various opinions on that. It does handle noticably better and I like having the equal track width for rotating tires.

Without doubt no.1 would be the STRC LCG conversion, after which I lowered the stock body by a further 10mm by chopping down the body mount posts.

Next would be dropping in a Castle MMP/4600kv 4-pole combo. I just love that motor.
Pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the RC car

Hard to say, every time I run one ,it's just plain a blast, and watching these things take what they do never ceases to amaze me.
    One thing however stands out.
The slash has actually brought me and my grandson much closer,as we both just love to spend the day together running them.

That's great to hear Billy! Same way with my daughter (23) and my nephew (11) it brings us kids of all ages together and keeps us together.
