    Trailer building help

So I am trying to build a trailer for my boat but I have one major problem. I don't know how to mount the wheels ? I want to use slash wheels and I want two to each side I would like it of the moved up and down too. I was thinking about just drilling a hole and putting threaded rod through but it seemed too simple. Help please.

That's what I would do, the all thread with a couple nuts, a wheel hex and a washer on each one.

Mount angled aluminum on the bottom. Drill holes in it and slide aluminum pipe through those holes. JB weld in place. Use a tap on both sides of a steel rod for the wheels to go on. Slide rod through small aluminum pipe. Put nylon spacers on and plastic hexes. Screw your wheels on and you're good.

If you want to have a suspension here are some leaf springs. You could then use U-bolts to bolt your axle to them.

There are a couple of different companies that make different sizes. I just did a Google search for "rc leaf springs"

Here is a flat bed trailer you can get some ideas from.
