    Rear wheels hard to turn!!!

My rear wheel are hard to turn. I have the center diff installed and rear brake kit. I did make sure that the rear brake is not to tight. With the rear yokes disconnected from the transmission. THe rear wheels turn fine. Its just when its all together the rear wont roll. I can spin the fronts just fine. The only thing that I can find is the rear center driveshafts dont slide anymore. They are pretty scared up. Could this be the problem because it doesn't slide????

The drive shafts from the transmission to the front and rear differentials really do not rely on the telescoping of the shafts for function other than for removal and installation. your on the right track. keep removing components until the problem is found. I once noticed a tight spot when turning the rear wheel, and traced it to the front diff by removing both shafts.

I just my rear brake kit on and my wheels drag to when the brake is not tight. I think it's a matter of wearing them in.
