I think it's pretty cool. I'd buy it if I didn't already have 2. I don't see how 4s lipos are going to squeeze in there with that XL mounted on top there. Had to shave my camera mount so the 8400s could fit back in. His bracket is wider, 8400s size are close to 4s size. IDK.

You sure did. lol Maybe the buyer will put some miles on it. Someone with a stable of Rc's will buy it and part it out into his other XO-1s and Slashes and the like.

a few years later but I use the TCS and I put it right in the duct like you suggested it works great. The cooling motor mount didn't fit so i just did a coil around the motor with a cold in and hot out. The little pump I got with my TCS plugged right in to the extra channels. All works well but Id like a water jacket that fits the 1717 for more even cooling. Haven't found one yet

To those believe liquid cooling is "if you're doing something wrong" as a diver since 8yrs old I was always told that even water that is relatively warm, say 85F+, a human will not last long (days) without suffering from hypothermia. So as I got older and certified myself to dive (legally), I was made aware of the following relating to a scuba diving:
"Water conducts heat (from our body 20 times) more efficiently than air"

So now the arguments should really be, do I want to use air to cool my motor, or water? Which will do the better job? Let's see, well with a radiator and fans, you really cannot beat liquid cooling, but then again, Porsche probably was wrong swithcing from air cooled to liquid cooled engines.

A standard wetsuit size is 3mm, if the water is below 70 I freeze in my 4mm wetsuit. And a dive typically doesn't last more than 45mins. Keep this in mind.
