Hey there! I have been doing a bit of driving in my basement after a 2 battery run outside. Everything was running smooth until I started to notice this strange clicking noise I would hear upon accelerating. Any idea what this is?
If you have checked the spur gear, drive shafts, motor pinion, ect for debris and have not found anything...
1) Could be your transmission (not usually, but possible)
2) Could be either your front or rear differential (most common)
Once you tear into the bulkhead and look at your ring and pinion you may see rounded off or missing teeth.
All you need to do is replace the ring and pinion and reassemble with shims to prevent this from happening again.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
I went through and cleaned it all up! Works great now, besides the current receiver problem!
Thanks for the input!
