Seen a guy at the track who had one. His truck ran pretty good, but I still beat him with my regular slash 4x4

his truck hardly rolled in corners whatsoever. Then again, he had the shocks laid down to the lowest possible positon front and rear...

I got 20 mins on the track today very impressed with the chassis. However I need to work on the steering and i think I will be installing 45wt oil in the front shocks and 55wt in the rear but a have to wait I order a new battery. Hoping the 50c battery will make this thing go.

The handling is like night and day Love the way in can go into a corner with rolling. I have a mod 1 12t 32p gear on it now runs at 160 to 170.

Watched one of these run on the track today. One of the really fast guys who runs another brand of 1/10 SCT tried it out and was amazed at how different it was to drive than any Slash he had tried before. Looked like center of gravity is alot lower and the truck handled with half the roll of any of the other Slash trucks.

So I ordered the lcg chassis for the slash but received the 4x. I'm contemplating putting it on the wifes slash 4x4 and just buying the right one for my 2wd. She comes with me to the track and runs with me. Do you think I should just put it on hers?

Nice looking truck Jay. I'm seriously considering a different chassis for my slash. I'm interested in hearing how it handled at the track. How much did the chassis cost?

what did you use to mount the servo? Did you get 3mm spacers? IT looks like you are not using them.

The servo is bolted right on the chassis with no spacers. I had rubber spacers but the servo moved around.

you didn't have interference from the driveline? It seems like I need the spacers to get below the driveline. At what point did you connect the rod to the servo horn? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do that. Chuckworks forgot to add some hardware to my kit so I'm going to have to wait

is this thing really strong because the way me and my friends race, well we race until we all break. so if i were to be hit by another slash right on the side, do you think it would break

Update When installing the steering servo arm install the the steering rod on the last hole on the arm. This way you can get the best performance out of your servo and it will turn all the way to the left with out hitting the drive-shaft

OK chassis is being removed at this time after 3 times at the track. It took out the center drive shaft, bind ed up the center diff. I thought it was going to work out however it did not. 65 dollars down the tubes.
