Will a newcastle sidewinder 5700 work alright on a summit?
no it will not. that motor is designed for smaller buggy type vehicles and it is only spec'd for 2s power... what ESC are you running?
You perfer brushless or would you settle for a large brushed motor liek the Dewalt?
No you cant drive it
my RC is owner operated only
I bought the motor with its default esc as a combo.
I would just like brushless with similar power of the titan 775
unfortunately the combo that you bought is not going to work for a summit. the summit is way to heavy for that motor/esc. you need the castle MMM 2200 combo or a similar combo designed for 1/8 scale monster trucks...
I've heard that there are some good Tekin motors out there, too.
Just accelerate, and only good will come.
