    Idea for traxxas

so we all love the fact that our trucks are water proof now but i for one wish traxxas used something in the tires that didnt soak up water like the stock foam inserts do. there has to be a waterproof material that would act like the existing foams but dont retain water.

the only true way to get them dry again is to break the glue and take the foams out and that is no fun....

Proline has water proof foam inserts that would work for you.
I decided that is why my stock CVDs broke. When i removed my wheels they were super heavy because they were so full of water. All the extra weight on the drive line and running a lipo battery twisted the pins out of the shafts.
So yes different foam would be good.

Have you tried clipping small holes opposite each other on the tire and then laying the truck on it's back and spinning the tires to get the water out?

That's what the manual suggests for wet running.

only problem with no holes is your tires dont get to vent and conform to the terrain.
